Stephanie, an optimistic young girl with bright pink hair, comes to live in LazyTown and meets a zany mix of townspeople including the world's laziest super-villain, Robbie Rotten. Fortunately for Stephanie, LazyTown is under the watchful eye of Sportacus, an athletic, super-active SuperHero, who runs, jumps, flips and flies to the rescue in his futuristic AriShip to help the inhabitants of LazyTown foil Robbie's latest lazy schemes. The other kids in LazyTown are curious, playful and, like Stephanie and most other youngsters, just trying to figure out their own worlds. Each has strengths and weaknesses with which all kids can identify.
They symbolize the challenges and opportunities that real children face every day: Ziggy loves the sweet things in life and struggles to make choices that are good for him; Stingy has a hard time seeing the benefits of sharing; Pixel is learning how to take better care of his mind and body by moderating his computer and TV use; Trixie is learning how to make friends by not hurting others and respecting social norms; and Stephanie is all about enjoying life and making choices that are good for her.
