"Marsupilami" is an eco-friendly, action-comedy series, adapted from André Franquin's famous comics. It takes place in the PALOMBIAN JUNGLE, which is threatened with extinction.HECTOR, a young boy with a thirst for adventure joins his AUNT DIANE for a year in the jungle where she has chosen to go study the flora and fauna, and there he becomes best friends with the legendary MARSUPILAMI and his family. Living amongst animals in this so-called «green hell, » Hector finds himself with a new, fun and exciting extended family: half human, half Marsu.
But one day, his joyful new life in the jungle is suddenly threatened with the arrival of FELICIA DEVOWERT, a power hungry industrialist.
Felicia, an eccentric multimillionaire devoured by hatred and grief, and the spearhead of a destructive civilization, has one single obsession: to raze the Palombian jungle to the ground in order to construct a giant concrete megalopolis that will carry her name: DEVOWERT CITY. In each episode of the series she focuses all of her energy on this project.
If she succeeds, she will provoke untold and irreversible environmental damage and the jungle, « the planet's lungs,» will disappear and along with it, the Marsupilamis.
As Aunt Diane looks on favorably, the Marsu and the little boy are determined to wage battle against Felicia's Machiavellian plans, and save Palombia, their home and their freedom.
